Van der Slice's Lullaby for flute, clarinet, timpani, piano and string orchestra will received its world premiere on April 16th at the University of Miami's Gusman Concert Hall.
Specters, Van der Slice's latest orchestral work, was premiered by the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra in Gusman Concert Hall for the opening night of Festival Miami 2002. The recording was recently released by Albany Records (TROY590). The UMSO has also presented the world premieres of Van der Slice's Nautilus and the orchestration of his piano work Absence Afirmed.
